LEAGUE STARTS: Fall 2011
FlagFootball4Fun offers 5-on-5 non-contact flag football North Tampa league designed for boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 16.
All league play takes place on Saturdays. Most Teams meet and practice one time a week before their scheduled game times and play one games each Saturday. Games last one hour. The typical team size is 8 to 10 children. The season consists of eight practice weeks, eight regular-season games, and an end of season playoff jamboree where all teams will play in a single elimination playoffs.
The cost to participate is $125. Each player receives a team jersey, and flags. All players will receive a participation trophy from the league at the end of the season.

This is the “Official” 2011 Fall North Tampa Flagfootball4fun league rulebook. Please refer to this rulebook with any questions on rules and regulations.
Each team in our Flagfootball4fun league will be given a team website for FREE. The team website will list the team schedule, league standings and etc. The website will be customized to your team. The coach of the team will have full access to post team news and etc to the team website.
This section will be for North Tampa league parents to stay up to date with the latest league news. All news will be emailed to parents, but this Parent News blog section above will also contain all the latest news and emails sent out from our league. This tool is used to provide parents a one stop shop to stay up to date. All new and past news will be updated to the Parent Blog above. Please use your 2011 Fall League Parent password that we emailed to all parents to use for the Parent News Blog and Parent Resources. Our age cut-off for the Fall league is September 1st, meaning that your child’s age on September 1st determines which bracket they should be placed in. For example, a child with a birthdate of September 3rd, 2000 would have a league age of 10 (his/her age on September 1st, 2011). A child with a birth date of August 20th, 2000 would have a league age of 11.

When you register, you will have the option to list a friend, sibling, or coach that you would like to have placed together with your child. Sibling requests are guaranteed, as are requests by coaches to coach their own child.
The vast majority of the time, we are able to accommodate friend requests. The earlier you register, the easier it is for us to fulfill your request. These requests are not guaranteed, however, as on rare occasions, we are not able to accommodate them.
We do currently accept team registrations. The most effective way to register a complete team is to have the coach register first, and then have the interested players request the coach under the Coach/Buddy Request section of registration or the head coach can register each player and pay for each player under his account. In turn, the parents will pay the coach back for registering the complete team.
Coaching our youth league programs can be a fun and rewarding experience. The commitment is limited to a few hours on Sundays.
