5v5 National Championships
Each year brings about new challenges and highlights the motivation and commitment of these youth as they continue pursuing their dreams of being one of the best flag football teams in the United States. The Flagfootball4fun 5v5 National championships is the final leg of this pursuit and open to any flag football team in the United States.
In the inaugural 2011 National Championships, we have added 6 divisions to the national championship tournament. The 2012 Flagfootball4fun 5v5 National Championships will provide the opportunity for teams to showcase their flag football skills against the best competition in the nation while emphasizing teamwork, discipline and fair play. .

Check-In: Check In:
A team representative must check in at the park according to the schedule:
7 AM to 9 AM: Open Check-in
9 AM to 10:30 AM: 8U and 10U Teams Only
10:30 AM to 12 PM: 12U and 14U Teams Only
12 PM to 1 PM: 16U Teams Only
At check-in, you must present copies of National Championship Rosters for all players and helpers on your team. Athletes are not required to attend check-in.
What Else to Bring:
You must have copies of certified birth certificates for all your players on hand at all times. In the event that proof of age is requested for any of your players, you must promptly provide this copy to the Tournament Office. You will need light and dark jerseys for each player. We are waiving the requirement for jersey numbers.
We will have game balls and flag belts at the fields. Flag belts will be the triple-threat type.
What Not to Bring:
No items such as coolers, tents, food, etc may be brought into the park. There will be water coolers there for all the teams.
Registration Cost: $350 per team. $99 Non-refundable deposit secures your slot. After June 15th, no refunds at all. Maximum of 15 players allowed on each team. 4 game guarantee.

Our age cut-off for the 2012 Flagfootball4fun Flag Football National Championship is September 1st, 2012, meaning that your child’s age on September 1st determines which bracket they should be placed in. For example, a child with a birthdate of September 3rd, 2000 would have a tournament age of 11 (his/her age on September 1st, 2012). A child with a birthdate of August 20th, 2000 would have a league age of 12.

About Amateur Athletic Union (AAU)
The Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) is one of the largest, non-profit, volunteer, sports organizations in the United States. Flagfootball4fun is the premier youth flag football league for boys and girls ages 5-16. AAU Flag Football commissioned the company to form AAU Flagfootball4fun leagues throughout the United States. Through this partnership the programs will provide young players a fun and exciting opportunity to engage in non-contact, action packed flag football leagues while learning lessons in teamwork. Launched in 2005 our programs are designed to educate young people about football while emphasizing participation and sportsmanship. Players learn skills and lessons that help them succeed both on and off the field. Current leagues are formed in Texas and Florida with corporate headquarters in both states. In 2011, programs will be expanded throughout the rest of the United States.
